Love is not something that can be developed and find overnight.
It is not something that can be written and spoken in words.

The scenerio for my valentine's day plans have been properly planned and ready for execution...

How did it go???
Not as planned... But I ain't complaining...

Reason...? She had a bad headache that day...

The first thought that went thru my mind was whether she was alright and I was veri veri worried for her health rather than disappointed that my plans and surprise that I have prepared for her will go to waste.

Gosh... I think I love her more than I ever expected myself to love any other girls in my life. I would rather she rest well at home coz of her busy schedule that will make her even more tired if she had insufficient rest. So, I took the gifts that I have prepared and left it at her doorstep.

Though things have not gone as planned, I was actually happy and honoured that I was given a "yes" answer to spend time with her on Valentine's Day(well, better than getting rejected when I ask her out for a date on this day).

The plan was supposed to be as followed:

• meeting her at her place in the afternoon and present her the flowers and Royce chocolates.
• bringing her for a early valentine's dinner at Lawry's Prime Ribs during the dinner, I will present her with the first gift.
• I intended to wear the gift on her personally and omitting out the gift box for other purposes.
• after dinner I will send her to school where she will study till 9pm, then I will go pick her up.
• at school, then I will present her with the gift box, consisting of the all the hearts with wings that I have folded for her. when she open the box, there will be glow of light shining within the box with those hearts inside. This was meant to surprise her as the luminous light will glow in the dark which will brighten all the hearts that I have folded for her.

Preparation stage:

The Gift

I have long sourced for the gift way before Valentine's Day. I bought it on 19th of Jan.

Kiasu...?? No la, becoz the gift was fast running out of stock. When I got it on 19th Jan, I have to travel to at least 3 Louis Vuitton boutique before finding it in Raffles Hotel boutique. I was told that it was the last piece available. This is the gift that I have bought for her.
Every single detail about her, her likes and dislikes are very important to me. Knowing that she has an allergy to silver and metal jewellery, I have decided to get her a leather bracelet. I managed to come across one when I was shopping around with her. It was during that moment that I have decided to get that for her. I felt she would like it coz I noticed that she does like wearing leather bands on her left arm. Really hoped she liked what I have chosen for her....

Totalling 186 hearts representing 186 days since I have met her and 186 days that I have been thinking of her and missing her...
(since 13th Aug 2007 till 14th Feb 2008, you do the counting....)

One thing is for sure, though everything did not turned out as planned, it is still by far the Best Valentine's Day I can ever wish for. I just wish to have another chance to plan out another surprise for her.

Seeing her smile and laugh makes all these efforts that I have gone thru worthwhile. Her smile is the most precious gift that I will cherish for life. No matter how long it will take, I will stay by her side to support her and take care of her in the best way I can...

I have never had this kind of feeling before... every single day, she is always in my mind. I cannot help but think of her and thus missing her so much. Words can never express how deeply in love I can be now. All I know is I shall prove it with my sincerity and thru my actions... I am very sure that she is the one for me...
But, the biggest question is...
Does she feel the same about me?

Valentine's Day thoughts

About me.... A person hoping to control his fate,
doesn't seemed to be doing a very good job out of this though.
A "sucker" for the term "true love".

Anyway, Valentine's around the corner and things seemed to be looking up.
How will things go? Smoothly, I hope.

I will keep surprising her every single year on this very same date, if given the chance.
